William H. Camley , 79, of Maynard, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his Maynard home. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy A. (Scherer) Camley.
Born in Leominster on October 20, 1936, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth Camley. He attended Townsend public schools, graduated from Townsend High School and later attended a trade school.
Mr. Camley served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman Second Class during the Korean Conflict.
For many years he was self-employed as a carpenter. His work included many remodeling and additions to homes in the local area.
He was a member of the Maynard Lodge of Elks, enjoyed his times in York Beach, Maine and especially enjoyed times spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was the father of Mark A. DiDuca of Haverhill, Monica A. Mancini of Littleton, Melissa A. Childs of Palmer, Christina M. Santos of Maynard and Pamela L. DiDuca of Acton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his two sisters Lillian Whitmore of Swansey, NH and Virginia Aucoin of Marshfield.
A funeral service will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 10 am in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Johnson of the Church of the Nazarene in Maynard.
Interment with military honors will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
Visiting hours will be held at the Dee Funeral Home on Friday March 11th from 4 to 8 pm.

Concord's town flag will fly at half-staff on Saturday in recognition of Mr. Camley's service to his country in the U. S. Air Force.
