William A. "Bill" Dolan, of Hubbardston, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 72.

Bill was born in Woburn on April 4, 1952 as the son of the late Francis Dolan, Jr. and Pauline (Roberts) Dolan. He spent his early life growing up in Carlisle and graduating from Concord Carlisle High School with the class of 1970. Soon after, he was committed to building his own business that he would operate for over 50 years, William A. Dolan Transportation.

Bill will be remembered for his love of golf, downhill skiing and deer hunting. He enjoyed frequent visits to Cape Cod where he spent time with family and friends. His admiration for animals, especially dogs, was unwavering. For many years, Bill was an active member of the Concord Independent Battery.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Linda (Helsher) Dolan, his daughter, Kaitlin Wester and her husband Thomas, his son, David Dolan and his wife Angela Sheppard, two grandsons, David and Daniel Wester and two siblings, Brian Dolan and Mary Lou Lawrence.

A private celebration of life has been planned. Bill will be laid to rest at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord at a later date.
