Wendy Ford Wolfberg, 66, of Westford, formerly of Concord and Marblehead, died at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on November 14, 2021. She was the wife of Michael Wolfberg, with whom she shared 23 years of marriage.
Wendy was born on June 3, 1955 in Media, Pennsylvania to her late parents, Guy Ford, Sr. and Dolly (Preston) Ford. She received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies cum laude from Harvard University and a Masters in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge. During her professional career in computers and technology, Wendy was employed by Digital Equipment Corporation, Nortel, Global Knowledge, Kronos and Dimensional Insight, prior to retiring.
She was a longtime member of First Parish in Concord, where she edited the church's monthly newsletter over the course of a few years. A music enthusiast, Wendy enjoyed singing, and had a particular love for jazz. She and Mike were active concert goers at the New England Conservatory. She occasionally acted and sang in community theater musicals at Theatre III in Acton, MA. She was also an amateur photographer and a published author.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind six siblings. Preston and wife Candice (sons Carter and Joshua), Bonnie, Gregory (son Andrew and daughter Emily), Douglas (son Ryan and daughter Morgan), Guy Jr. and wife Erica (sons Mason and Ryder), and Jeffrey Ford. Wendy also leaves Mike's two children, Nancy and David, and partner Sarah.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
