IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wade
Tyler
May 24, 1957 – July 31, 2024
Wade A. Tyler, 67, of Marlborough, formerly of Maynard and Concord, died peacefully and comfortably at home on July 31, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his devoted family.
He was born in Arlington on May 24, 1957 as the son of the late Richard and Jane (Manning) Tyler. Growing up in Concord, he attended Concord-Carlisle High School and graduated with the class of 1975. He was a member of the school's hockey team that made two appearances at the State Tournament in the Boston Garden.
Wade will be remembered as a skilled and respected Salesman. He was employed for the past two decades at McGovern Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Acton. There, he built enduring relationships with colleagues and clients.
A remarkable people person, he had an incredible natural ability to treat everyone he met like a dear friend. He would often strike up conversations with anyone he came in contact with. One of his many gifts was believing in the value of every individual, and seeing everyone equally. He was loyal to a fault. Wade's unconditional love for his family and friends knew no bounds. One of his happy places was being by the water in Marshfield, though he never stepped on a beach he didn't love.
His life and legacy will be treasured by his wife and soulmate of nearly 41 years, Donna (Wilson) Tyler and their four children, Bret Tyler, Craig Tyler, Colby Tyler and his fiancé Hannah McMahon and Nicole Richardson and her husband Peter. He was the adored and proud "Gampsy" of Maddyn and Wyatt Wade Richardson, and the brother of Lesley Troio and her husband Stephen. He also leaves behind four sisters-in-law, Deb Dalton and her husband Jack, ML Wilson, Paula Easley and her husband Matt and Karen Wilson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wade was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Rick Wilson.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Wade's life during visiting hours at Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center on Tuesday, August 6 from 5 to 8 pm. All are welcome to re-gather in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 7 at 11 am, followed by a procession to St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord, where his graveside service will be held at 12 pm.
Contributions in Wade's honor may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley, 212 Great Road, Maynard, MA 01754 ( www.bgcav.org ).
Arrangements are entrusted to Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 11 am
