Virginia Ann "Ginny" (McDonald) Averill, age 67, died peacefully on New Year's Day beside her devoted husband of 34 years, Robert Averill. Ginny leaves her loving sister Missy (Melissa Juchniewicz) and her husband Bruce Juchniewicz, and her many friends. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Belle McDonald. Ginny was a joyful person, from her days at the Alleys to the Willow Pond, and to Boston where she put herself through nursing school, and out to San Francisco at Lagunda Honda, and finally back east. She made her home in Buffalo, loved animals and gardening and laughing. Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial gathering on Thursday, January 13th from 12 to 2 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
