Tripoli J. DiCicco, age 103, a resident of Concord for over a century, died on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Weston. For 59 years, he was the devoted husband of the late Anne (Gilbert) "Gil" DiCicco who died in 2006.
He was born in Concord on September 25, 1914 to the late Giuseppe and Felicia (Conti) DiCicco. A 1933 graduate of Concord High School, he subsequently received an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 1937.
Mr. DiCicco took pride in the operation of Electro Products Company in Waltham, which he formerly owned along with his two brothers.
A lot of personal satisfaction stemmed from the care of his property in Concord. He had a particular interest in the proper manicuring of his lawn. Above all, he will be remembered as a man who cared deeply for his family.
His memory will be cherished by his son, Gilbert J. DiCicco of Marlborough, his daughter, Susan D. Knapp and her husband Richard of Waltham, one grandson, Jonas Feit, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. DiCicco was the father-in-law of the late Donna DiCicco and brother to the late Flora, Ruggiero, Romeo, and Minotti DiCicco and Melba Manero.
Relatives and friends will gather for visiting hours on Monday, October 2nd from 4 to 7 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 10 am from the Dee Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.
