Thomas B. Diskin, Jr. of Concord, died peacefully at Emerson Hospital on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 83 following a brief illness.

A lifelong resident of Concord, Tom was a member of the 1958 graduating class of Concord High School. He was an avid sports fan.  While he enjoyed watching professional sports, his favorite times were coaching and supporting his children and grandchildren at their sporting events. Tom most loved his daily walks through Walden Woods and up to Fairhaven Bay. He spent his entire career in the insurance industry with the last 30+ years at Gallant Insurance in Acton.

He leaves behind his loving companion, Marilyn, four children, David, Stacey, Linda, and Kerry, his grandson, Brennan and three siblings, Jean, James and Karen.

At the request of Tom, family members will gather for a private funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to Walden Woods Project .
