Theresa "Terry" V. (Scandale) Maloney, formerly of Waltham, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Care One Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington. She was 90.

Born December 24, 1932 in Newton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Teresa (Mannarino) Scandale. Terry was the eighth of nine children.

She will perhaps be best remembered for her love of animals. She had many pets throughout her life all of whom she loved dearly, but Terry was particularly fond of her latest pet a miniature poodle named "Brownie".

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and caring for any animal that crossed her path.

Terry leaves behind her older sister, Anne Allain of Gardner. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Sunday, April 30th from 3 to 5 pm at Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.  Interment will be private.

Terry's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff and those who cared for her at Sunrise Senior Living in Burlington, where she resided for the past six years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130, or a charity of one's choice.
