Obituary

Thelma A. Bonzagni, 96, of Arlington died Wednesday May 9, 2012 in Bedford. She was the beloved wife of 58 years of the late Frank V. Bonzagni. Born in Arlington on December 30, 1915 she was the daughter of Joseph Malatesta and Rose (Carcioffo) Malatesta. She attended Arlington schools , Arlington High School, Boston University, and was married to Mr. Bonzagni in 1938. During the 1970's Mrs. Bonzagni and her husband spent four years living in Terrenia , Italy. She enjoyed music, reading, foreign languages, and being with her family especially during the summer months at Lake Cathance in Maine. Survivors include her daughter Gail Marmer and her husband Alvin of Concord, her son Richard Bonzagni and his wife Sandra of Acton, her grandchilden, Beth Smith and her husband Matt , Amy Mueller and her husband Greg, Peter Marmer, Jennifer Marshall and her husband Charles, and Lauren Tajima and her husband Aaron, ten great-grandchildren and her brother Richard Malatesta of Arlington. She was also the sister of the late Joseph, Bill, Norina and Evelyn Malatesta and Josephine Bertram. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 14th at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord. Cemetery: Interment will follow the Mass in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord, Massachusetts. Service: Funeral Mass will be on Monday, May 14th, at 10 AM in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center.
