Teresa E. (Caruso) DiGiovanni, 89, of Concord, formerly of Belmont, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the beloved wife of Guy P. DiGiovanni for sixty-five years. Born in Brighton on January 1, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Mongiove) Caruso. She graduated from Brighton High School, "The Castle on the Hill." Mrs. DiGiovanni was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. She had great faith, a positive attitude and a wonderful smile that sustained her through her many years. A longtime resident of Concord and Belmont, she was a former communicant and past president of the Guild of St. Gerard at Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Belmont. She was also a member of the Belmont Garden Club and more recently a communicant of Holy Family Parish in Concord. She assisted her husband in the family owned and operated real estate development company. In addition to her beloved husband, Guy, she is survived by 7 children, Mary Ann DiGiovanni of Belmont, Mildred DiGiovanni of Hyannis, Teresa MacNutt of Belmont, Debra Ann King and her husband Stephen of Andover, Elaine Canina of Belmont, Ellen DiGiovanni of New York City, and James DiGiovanni of Concord, 11 grandchildren, Vincent MacNutt, Brian King, Elizabeth Hammond, Dennis King, Colin King, Christina, Nicholas and Andrew DiGiovanni and Julie, Emily and Joseph Canina, 3 great-grandchildren, Ryley MacNutt, Isabelle King and Ava King and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also the sister of the late Helen Nicholas, Mary DeFazio, Ann Tobio, Nicholas, Dominic, Francis, Bernard, Henry, Robert, Julio and Thomas Caruso. Funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center will be held on Sunday, November 27th from 2 to 5 pm and Monday November 28th from 4 to 8 PM.
