Stephen D. McBreen, a life-long resident of Concord, died Saturday, May 25, 2013. He was the beloved son of the late John C. and Phyllis (Porter) McBreen, with whom he is now reunited. He will be greatly missed by his sister Deborah Kelley and her husband Richard of Satellite Beach, FL and by his brother John P. McBreen and his wife Cindi of Bradenton, FL. Stephen also leaves his nephews, Scott Banks and John L. McBreen, and his nieces, Meredith Turpen, Kristen Dzikas and Sarah Kelley, as well as 3 great-nephews and a great-niece. Stephen was ever grateful for the loving hospitality and care of his aunts and uncles, Margaret and William Ritchie of Concord and Joann and Joseph McBreen of Manchester, NH His friends are too numerous to count – some called him "The Mayor of Concord" and everyone was amazed at how he remembered their birthday. Stephen graduated Blue Hills Vocational/Technical School and worked for over 20 years at the Colonial Inn and then for several years at Crosby's Market. He was especially proud to be a Concord Minuteman and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
