Stephen H. Brown, of Chelmsford, formerly of Wellesley, died Sept. 6, 2014. He was the dear husband of 33 years of Judy M. Cohn and father of Andrew H. Brown of Newburyport and Katherine D. Brown of Boston. Also survived by his brother Will S. Brown III of Raleigh, NC. and by many dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Private interment. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Sunday Sept. 21st at 11 am at the Cohn/Brown residence, 86 High St., Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Mass. Chapter, Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave., Suite 902, NY, NY 10018 (www.hdsa.org). He was a graduate of Fenn School, Concord and Lawrence Academy, Groton and attended Boston University. Steve was captain of the Lawrence Academy hockey team like his brother and father before him. Mr. Brown was a singer, songwriter, gourmet chef, cabinet maker and in 1973 was a founding member of the folk rock band Parts and Labor.
