Sister Marie Noel Doyle SND, of Concord, formerly of Dorchester, died Sunday Jan. 5, 2014 in Concord at age 74, She was with the Sisters of Notre Dame for 56 years. The daughter of the late Francis and Gertrude (Shaughnessy) Doyle, she is survived by her brother Robert Doyle and his wife Nancy of Chicago, IL. her nephews, Adam, Barry and Christopher Doyle and her sisters in religion, the Sisters of Notre Dame. Sister Marie Noel taught for many years in Notre Dame schools in Dorchester, Lawrence, East Boston and South Boston. She was also involved with Social Outreach Ministry at Harbor Me shelter in East Boston, Project Hope in Roxbury, and Prison Ministry in Concord and Framingham, MA. Cemetery: Burial in Notre Dame du Lac Cemetery, Worcester will be at a later date. Visitation: Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be on Friday Jan. 10th from 2 to 6 pm with a prayer service at 5 pm. Service: Funeral will be held Sat. Jan. 11th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am.
