Shirley P. (Davidson) McCully, 84, of Carlisle, died peacefully with her daughters at her side on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald R. McCully. Born in Blackville, New Brunswick, Canada on January 15, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Duncan and Ethel (McDonald) Davidson. She attended Blackville public schools, graduated from Blackville High School and graduated from nursing school in New Brunswick, Canada. She came to the United States in the late 1950's and resided in Somerville before moving to Carlisle in 1967. She worked as a nurse in several Boston area hospitals. She was the devoted mother of Carla A. McCully of Chelmsford and Valerie L. McCully of Carlisle and loving aunt of Debbie Nawazekski, of Hanson, MA. A funeral service was held in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home followed by burial at Green Cemetery in Carlisle.
