Sandra L. (MacQuarrie) Cotoni, 68, of Acton, formerly of Wayland, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her Acton home. She was the beloved wife of 46 years of Joseph D. Cotoni, Jr. They were married in 1966. Born in Stoughton on July 10, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Bertelle E. and Bertha L. (Whitham) MacQuarrie. She grew up in Waltham and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Waltham in 1962. For many years, Mrs. Cotoni worked in Waltham for the Arkwright-Boston Company. A resident of Acton for the past six years, she previously resided in Wayland from 1966 until 2004. In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her children, Brian J. Cotoni and his wife Robin of Leominster and Keith E. Cotoni and his spouse Gina Savini of Lowell, her grandchildren, Matthew and Jason Cotoni, Jack Cotoni and Quinn Marie Cotoni, her two sisters Carolyn Hughes of Kingsman, Arizona and Patricia MacQuarrie of Attleboro and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ernie MacQuarrie of Georgia. Cemetery: Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation: Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 15th from 4 to 8 PM at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Service: Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 16th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Lincoln at 10 AM.
