Ruth E. Moran, age 84, of Concord, MA, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Life Care of Acton. Born in Boston on March 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Edna (Massey) Moran. She moved as an infant to Concord, attended Concord Schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1948. Ruth attended Newton Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing and worked in the health field until her retirement in 1995. Ruth liked to travel and took many trips to California, Cape Cod, Maine and the seashore. She loved fashion, design, clothing, her home and family. She is survived by one son, Dallas R. Bellamy Jr. of Chico, CA, 3 sisters, Rita Pope and her husband John of Petersham, MA, Kathleen Appis and her husband Jergen of Chester, NJ, Rosemary Madia and her husband Carl of Hyannis, MA, 3 brothers, William J. Moran of McDonough, GA, Robert R. Moran and his wife Nataley of Concord, MA and James K. Moran and his friend Jan of CA and 9 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and her sister Edna Mae Moran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Women's Hope of Boston, 10 Chamblet Street, Boston, MA 02125. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
