Rosemary A. (Murphy) Gannon, 91, of Sandown, NH, formerly of Naples, FL and Concord, MA, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at All American Assisted Living in Londonderry. For nearly 70 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Joseph P. Gannon who died in 2017. Born in Somerville, MA on October 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anne Murphy. For several years while raising her family in Concord, she was employed as a Secretary at Concord-Carlisle High School. A woman of unwavering faith, she was active with St. Bernard's Sodality in Concord. Rosemary will be dearly remembered by her love and talent for painting, gardening, quilting, sewing, needlework, and playing piano. Both she and Joe were passionate participants for thirty years with the Acton Square Wheelers. Above all, she was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She leaves behind four children, Joseph Gannon and his wife Kathleen of Naples, FL, Anne Scheer and her husband Marc of Concord, NH, Daniel Gannon and his wife Beth of Sandown, NH, and Senator Bill Gannon and his wife Janice of Sandown, NH, as well as nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also the sister to Nancy Wildstar and George Murphy. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA on Friday, June 28th from 9:30 to 10:15 am. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.
