Roger A. Burgess, 86, of Maynard, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. He was the loving husband of the late Rose Marie (Albanese) Burgess who died in 2015. Mr. Burgess was born in Waltham on December 5, 1931, the son of the late Anthony and Gladys (Cormier) Burgess. He was a longtime Waltham resident before relocating to Maynard. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Longview Fiber as a Maintenance Supervisor. He is survived by his children, Madalyn McElhiney and her husband John, Michael Clark, Linda Brown and her husband Marcus, and Francesca Albanese, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, hia nephew, Tim Brown, and his cousin, Paul Bourgeois. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
