Robert W. Balazy, 46, of Carlisle, MA and formerly of Farmington, CT, died on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. He was the husband for 15 years of Alyson Becker, and father of PJ, Harry, and Otto Balazy, all of Carlisle. Rob was born in Hartford, CT on June 26, 1973 to his late parents, Walter and Jean (Shappell) Balazy. At Farmington High School, he was a strong student and talented athlete. He also played division one soccer for the University of Vermont. Rob completed his studies at Boston University, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Rob's career launched during the technology boom of the 1990's and he spent many years in executive positions at various Internet and technology companies. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman, with a particular passion for skiing, backpacking, and hiking. He was loved deeply and will be forever missed. In addition to his wife and children, Rob's memory will live on through his sister, Jean Ann Ward and her husband David of Arizona, as well as his niece and nephews, Jonathan Ward, Ryan Ward, Bryan Balazy and Kalie Balazy. He was also the brother of the late RD Balazy and the nephew of Stacia Balazy of Farmington, CT and Karen Hahn of New Jersey. Rob's family will gather for a private burial service at Green Cemetery in Carlisle.
