Robert William Parke, of Westford, formerly of Acton, died unexpectedly at home on November 12, 2017. He was the beloved husband for 44 years of Betsy (St. Martin) Parke.
Born in Concord on May 23, 1949, he was the devoted son of the late Leslie and Johanna Parke. He attended Acton-Boxborough public schools and graduated from Acton Boxborough High School in 1968.
For over 40 years, Mr. Parke was the owner of the Robert W. Parke Electrical Contractors Company operating in the Concord area.
A resident of Westford since 1977, he loved being active in outdoor activities and sports. His perfect day was skiing fresh powder with his family.
In addition to his wife, Betsy, he was the loving father of Christian Robert Parke and his wife Krista of Stowe, Vermont, Damon Michael Parke and his wife Susan of North Andover and Ashleigh Beth Boucher and her husband Keith of Jacksonville, FL. He was lovingly called Grampa Bob by his grandchildren, Johanna and Madeline Parke, Cadence Parke and Brayden Boucher. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Jean Clegg and husband Robert of Clifton, VA, Barbara Huey and her husband Al of Tenants Harbor, Maine and Joanne Parke of Lexington, MA.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 17th from 1 to 4 pm at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center followed by a reception for close friends and family at the Colonial Inn in Concord.

Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
