Robert M. Snay, 50, lifelong Concord resident, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. Born in Concord on October 8, 1961 he was the son of Raymond J. Snay of Concord and the late Mary D. (Florio) Snay. He attended Concord public schools and graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 1979. While attending high school, he worked as a cook at the Willow Pond Kitchen in Concord. Upon graduation from High School, Mr. Snay became the longtime owner and operator of Snay Landscape and Construction Company. Most recently, he worked as a salesperson and designer for South Shore Gunite Swimming Pools and Spa Company. A lifelong resident of Concord, he was a longtime member of the Concord Independent Battery and served in the National Guard. He was an avid snowmobiler, deep-sea fisherman and a Nascar enthusiast. In addition to his father, Raymond, he is survived by two sons, Mark D. Snay and Christopher R. Snay, both of Concord, his brother, Louis Snay of Nashua, New Hampshire, his niece, Jennifer L. Snay of Nashua, NH, his aunt, Irma Florio of Stow and his cousin, Cara Florio of Concord and his loving friend, Karen Dunnigan of Concord.

Visiting hours, Wednesday, April 11th from 4 to 8 PM in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
Service:
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 12th at 11 AM at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord, Massachusetts.
