Rita Marie (Foote) Neri, 80, of Bourne, formerly of Arlington, died April 26, 2013 at home, surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late Vlady J. Neri. Born in Gloucester on July 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Charlotte (Hartshorn) Foote and the mother of the late Rita Marie Neri. Rita was a graduate of Newton High School. She began her career at Raytheon Co., where she met her husband, and then was a long-term employee of Jordan Marsh Co. before retiring to Cape Cod. She was an active member of St. John's Church in Sandwich, MA. She also enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, crafts, and reading. Her true enjoyment was time with family and being at the ocean. She is survived by her children Mark Neri, Andrea Martinez, Lisa Cupp, Paula Fox, Rita Verney, and Linda Hirsch. In addition to her children, she is survived by her seventeen grandchildren, as well as her two great grandchildren. Service: Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 15th at St. John's Episcopal Church, 159 Main Street, Sandwich at 11AM.
