Richard Francis Halloran, age 86, died at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Bedford, MA, on June 19, 2023.

He was born on February 19, 1937 as the son of the late Louis and Flora (Steele) Halloran. Richard grew up in Concord, attended Concord High School, and served proudly in the United States Army.

Professionally, he was a businessman and entrepreneur. He enjoyed fishing, trapping and the serenity of the great outdoors. Richard was a devout Roman Catholic.

He is survived by his children, Catherine Goldring, Jocelyn Halloran, Gregory Halloran, Richard Halloran, and his granddaughter, Alexandra Harris.

Richard's Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately at St. Benedict Abbey in Harvard, MA and burial will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.

Concord's Town Flag will fly at half-staff on June 29, 2023 in recognition of his faithful military service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , of which Richard was a generous contributor.
