Remo 'Ray' Palmucci, 82, of Concord died Wednesday July 4, 2012 in Concord. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Patricia D. (McLaughlin) Palmucci. Born in Concord on May 23, 1930 he was the son of the late Joseph and Flavia Palmucci of Castro Valva, Italy. He graduated from Concord High School in 1948, and later Wentworth Institute and Northeastern University School of Engineering. For 39 years Mr. Palmucci was employed at General Electric Co. in Lynn in the Small Aircraft Engine Division. He was the devoted father of Gary Palmucci and grandson Nicolas, and is also survived by his brothers Victor of Vienna, VA and David of Littleton and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lea Cox and Ester McLain. Cemetery: Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visitation: Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Monday July 9th from 4 to 7 pm. Service: Funeral will be held Tuesday July 10th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am.
