Priscilla R. (Berry) Strate, 92, of Boxborough, formerly of Concord, died Thursday, April 16th at her Boxborough home. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Strate who died in 1991. Born in Concord on December 24, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Nellie (Harmon) Berry. Mrs. Strate attended Concord Public Schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1941. She was a former member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord and has resided in Boxborough for the last twenty years. Prior to her retirement in 1987, Mrs. Strate was a Postal Clerk and Supervisor at the Acton Post Office. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Casey and her husband Jack of Shirley, her grandchildren, Edmund Huntley of Boxborough and Rebecca Grant of Pennsylvania, her great grandchildren, Tiffany Haas and her husband Greg of New Hampshire, and Laura and Cara Huntley, both of Salem, NH, and her great-great grandson, Slade Haas of New Hampshire. She was also the sister of the late Arthur Berry, John Berry, Helen Engebretson, and Jean Berry. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10 am in the family burial plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. John C. Lombard, Senior Minister of the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord.
