Priscilla A. (Sargent) Korell, of Falmouth, formerly of Concord and Brewster, passed away in Falmouth, MA March 3 after a long illness. She was 77. Born January 16, 1934 to Charles W. and Bertha (Bortman) Sargent, in Hanover, NH, Priscilla, called Prill, was descended from William Sargent who served as cabin boy on the Arbella, a ship that traveled from England to Boston in 1630.
Prill was the wife of the late Jason H. Korell, and sister to Charles Philip and John Wesley Sargent, who both predeceased her. She graduated from Hanover High School in 1951 and Boston University School of Communications in 1955.
She worked for John Hancock Insurance Company as a newsletter editor and then for Minuteman Publications as editor of the Lincoln Sudbury Fence Viewer and the Concord Journal.
She then worked for Boston Edison Company as a public information officer and then as district manager. She managed many special events there, and considered her coordination of the companys centennial as one of the highlights of her professional career.
Prill spent all of her summers in Brewster, MA and was an early member of Camp Wono, now called Cape Cod Sea Camps. It was there that she learned to sail and it became a lifelong passion. She was a devoted Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Prill and Jason were very involved in Concord activities, having participated in the Concord Minutemen and traveling with the group to many events around the world including Paris for the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles and the reenactment of the Arnold Expedition to Quebec in 1975.
Prill served on many town committees in Concord and was chairman of both the Finance and Library Committees as well as co-chair of the Hapgood Wright project.
She is survived by her children: Barbara J. Campbell (East Falmouth), Karen Candie OBrienand her husband Sean (Norwood)and Douglas S. Korelland his wife Jackie (Edgartown), as well as five grandchildren: Justin and Matthew Campbell, Taylor, Christopher and Scott OBrien.

Cemetery:
Interment will follow in the family burial plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday March 6th from 1 to 3 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.

A funeral service will be held in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center on Sunday March 6that 3 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Jenny Rankin, Minister at the First Parish in Concord.
