Priscilla Pierce McNally, age 91, formerly of Concord and Norwood, died on July 13, 2021. She was the wife of the late William F. McNally, Jr. who died in 2003. They were married in May of 1953 at St. Bernard's Church in Concord.
Priscilla was born in Melrose to her late parents, Ralph and Frances (Mutty) Pierce. She graduated from Concord High School in 1947.
A devout catholic, Priscilla was a longtime parishioner of St. Bernard's Church in Concord. She was a member of the St. Bernard's Sodality and the Colonial Dames of Washington, DC. After moving to Norwood, she enjoyed being active in the Evening Garden Club and the Senior Knitting Club. She also loved traveling to Maine with her sisters over the years. Above all, Priscilla will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Family was always at the center of her life.
Those left to cherish her memory include six children, Brian McNally and his wife Sharon of Boston, Kevin McNally of Bedford, Maureen Moriarty and her husband Dermot of Canton, John McNally and his wife Wendy of Concord, Mark McNally and his wife Victoria of Jamestown, RI and Daniel McNally and his wife Kristine of Merion Station, PA, her grandchildren, Brooke, Geoffrey, Dana, Courtney, Colleen, Katherine, Pierce, Grace and Caroline, as well as ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister, Estelle Burton VanSant of Canada and her brother, Rev. John Pierce of NJ. She was predeceased by three siblings, Ralph Pierce, Miriam Scully and Dana Pierce.
Family and friends will gather for visiting hours on Sunday, July 18th from 2 to 5 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 19th at 9:30 am from the Dee Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center.
