Phyllis B. (Shattuck) Flynn, 84, of Westford, formerly of Concord, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was the wife for 64 years of the late Richard L. Flynn who predeceased her in April of 2016.
Born in Concord on July 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Shattuck. She was a member of Concord High School's class of 1950.
Prior to her retirement, she was a longtime employee of the GENRAD Company in West Concord.
Mrs. Flynn was a Westford resident since 1962 where she was a communicant at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.
Her and her husband loved to travel. Over the years, some of the destinations included Hawaii, the Caribbean, Montreal, and Paris. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing and going out to dinner with family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Richard L. Flynn, Jr. and his wife Evelyn M. of Townsend, her grandchildren, Katherine C. and Jacob D. Flynn, both of Townsend, her brother, Allen Theodore Shattuck and his wife Donna of Townsend, as well as several nieces and one nephew.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 10 am from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center.
Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
Visiting hours in the Dee Funeral Home are Tuesday, November 29th from 4 to 8 pm.
