Peter P. Selines, a Concord resident for 45 years, died at Emerson Hospital, following a brief illness, on August 25, 2019 at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband for 57 years of the late Elvira "Vera" (Shepard) Selines who died in 2007. He was born in Cambridge on January 2, 1928 as the son of the late George and Martha (Bush) Selines. Mr. Selines was a lifetime employee for Hewlett-Packard and a proud Army veteran. He loved summering on Manomet and traveling extensively around the world. He will be missed by three children, Janet Goulart and her husband Ronald of Nashua, NH, Judy Selines of Concord, Michael P. Selines of Concord, two grandchildren, David Goulart and his fiancé Kristen Kelly and Justine McManus and her husband Bryan, one great granddaughter, Grace, and several nephews. He was the father of the late Richard J. Selines and brother to the late Felix and George Selines. Family and friends will gather for a period of visitation on Friday, August 30th from 9 to 10:15 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord. Concord's Town Flag will fly at half-staff on Friday, August 30th in honor of his military service to the country. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
