Peter J. Cook, age 50, of Lowell, formerly of Lincoln and Maynard, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his Lowell home. Born in Concord on December 13, 1961 he was the son of Kathleen G. (McGrory) Cook of Concord and the late Harry Cook. He attended St. Bridget Parochial School in Maynard and Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington. For many years, Mr. Cook worked as a Carpenter for local Construction Companies. Previously, he worked on the Cook Family Farm in Lincoln. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and was a season ticket holder for the New England Patriots. In addition to his mother, Kathleen, he is survived by 4 sisters, Beth Cugini and her husband Dick of Natick, Patty Sweeney of Maynard, Kathy Mulligan of Tewksbury and Christine Tower and her husband Bruce of Glen Allen, Virginia and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was also the brother of the late Maureen Cook. Cemetery: Interment will follow the Mass in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bedford Street, Concord, Massachusetts. Visitation: Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 2nd in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center from 4 to 7 PM. Service: Funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Bernard's Church, Monument Square, Concord Center.
