Paul V. Moynihan Jr., 61, formerly of Concord and Lincoln, died Tuesday June 19, 2012 in Concord. He was the beloved husband of 41 years of Mary Ellen (Phippard) Moynihan. Born in Concord on June 23, 1950 he was the son of the late Paul V. and Rita Y. (Maguire) Moynihan. He attended Lincoln public schools and was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury High School. Mr. Moynihan was employed as a technician at Raytheon Corporation for over thirty years. In the late 1970's he was instrumental in the founding of Concord-Carlisle Youth Baseball, in which he was actively involved for many years in field maintenance, as a board member and serving several terms as league president. For several years he also worked for the New England Patriots in equipment transportation. In addition to his wife Mary Ellen, survivors include his sons, Jeffrey P. Moynihan of CA and Michael C. Moynihan and his wife Joanna of Brooklyn, NY., his granddaughter Livia Moynihan, also of Brooklyn, NY. , his brother Timothy J. Moynihan of Bedford , his godson and nephew Scott Doyle of Amherst, NH. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also the brother of the late Mark B. Moynihan.

Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center will be held on Friday June 22nd from 4 to 8 pm.
Service:
A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 23rd at 10 am in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bedford St., (Rte. 62) Concord.
