Paul R. Messina of Ashburnham, MA died suddenly & unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2026. He was 60 years old.
Born in Quincy, MA. on October 4, 1965, he was the son of the late Philip J Messina and survived by his mother Blanche C Greeno (the late Kenneth Greeno, stepfather) and is also survived by his stepmother Carol B Messina.
Paul was a loving and proud father and leaves behind his daughter, Mary C Messina and sons Michael P and Max K Messina, his long-term partner Angela Kearny, brothers Peter Messina (Donna) and James Messina (Barbara); sister, Cynthia Allred, (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Paul loved nature, hiking, camping, golf, pinball and cooking. He was an avid pinball machine collector and player. He was the founder of Messina & Associates and was passionate about landscaping and design as well as machine operating skills that were second to none in the New England area. He was a member of the American Heritage Museum in Hudson, MA.
Family and friends will meet at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery (new section - 361 Bedford Street, Concord, MA) for Paul’s burial service on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 am, with a celebration of life and luncheon to follow at The Maynard Elks Lodge, 34 Powder Mill Road, Maynard MA
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Heritage Museum and the Collin’s Foundation.
