Paul V. Cahill, of Concord, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home in Concord, surrounded by his immediate family. He was the beloved husband for 32 years of Lisbeth C. (Hall) Cahill. Born in Everett on July 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Paul V. Cahill, Sr. and Frances (Pinkney) Cahill. From 1967 to 1973, he was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Cahill worked for L.E. Belcher of Springfield, having spent his most of his career in the Fuel Oil Industry, as did his father and grandfather before him. A resident of Concord for many years, he was an avid golfer, and a member of Maynard Country Club. He also enjoyed music and played the piano, sharing that talent with young and old, alike, whenever he could. One of his greatest joys was spending time, with family, in his second home in Magnolia (Gloucester) and taking part in activities of that seaside community. He was an active communicant of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in West Concord, and a member of Holy Family parish. He was a good husband, father, and friend and will be missed by all. In addition to his wife, Lisbeth, he is survived by his son, Paul V. Cahill III and his wife Kerri of Groveland, his daughter, Adrienne Frances Cahill of Manhattan, New York, his grandson, Paul V. Cahill, IV of Groveland, his sister-in-law, Jennifer Hall and her wife Blyth Hazen of Beverly, his brother-in-law, John A. Hall and his wife Yi-Ling Hall of Plano, Texas, his parents-in-law, John C. and Sadie Hall of Manhattan, New York, his nephew, Justin Hall and his niece, Isabelle Hall.
