Obituary

Patricia R. Walsh, 77, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 12th at her Lincoln residence. Born in Boston on February 19, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Richard J. and Ruthven E. Walsh, and the sister of the late Phyllis Walsh Crocker. She graduated from Medford High School, and attended Radcliffe College where she earned a Bachelor's degree in 1959. Pat went on to have a long and successful career at IBM where she worked as a Systems Engineer for over forty years. A Lincoln resident for almost 40 years, she was an avid sailor and loved quilting and painting. She traveled the world with friends and family, and she enjoyed and supported music and the arts. Pat is survived by her niece Lauren M. Crocker and her wife Donna Ruvolo of Belmont, her nephew George G. Crocker and his wife Sandra Su-Crocker of Belmont, and her nephew Richard C. Crocker and his partner Eryk Wade of San Francisco. She was the great-aunt of Benjamin, Josue, and Julienne Crocker. Funeral will be held on Monday, August 17th at 8:45 AM from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln. Burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours are Sunday, August 16th from 2 to 5 PM in the Dee Funeral Home. Contributions in her memory may be made to Rosie's Place, 889 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118 or Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118. Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
