Patricia Grace (Chardo) Cannava, of Concord, MA, affectionately known by family and friends as Tish, passed away at Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham on November 18, 2023. She was 72.

Born on May 4, 1951, Tish was the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (Bicchieri) Chardo. As a child, she enjoyed helping out in her father's candy store Premier Chocolate in Boston. She attended Medford High School and later graduated from Tufts Dental School as a Dental Assistant.

It was at Tufts Dental School that she met her future husband, and together, they raised a family and traveled the world with their three children: Nicole Bouzan (married to Timothy Bouzan), Brian Cannava (married to Colleen Cannava), and Patrick Cannava. Tish's proudest achievement was raising her children, and spending time with her six grandchildren: Devin Cannava, Isabella Cannava, Catherine Cannava, Charlotte Cannava, Margaret Cannava, and Alivia Bouzan (whom she named with an A). She was the sister of Mary Anne Johnson and Anthony "Butchie" Chardo and his wife Toni. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Jennifer Grace Ford.

Later in life, she pursued more education, graduating from Framingham State University and earning a bachelor's degree in multiple majors including Nutrition, Communications and Psychology.

Tish enjoyed art, theater, writing, and had a love of shopping, yoga, the ocean, and her fond memories as a child of White Horse beach. She cherished spending time with her lifelong friends Susan "Orso" Carlino and Joanna "Leone" Richardson. Tish was also very active with the Concord Council on Aging.

Tish will be laid to rest during a private burial service on November 22, 2023 at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute .
