Patricia A. (Bean) Morgan, age 85, affectionately known as Patsy, died peacefully following a long illness on Friday, September 15, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Patsy was a longtime former Concord resident, and the loving wife of the late Dan A. Morgan who died in 1979.
Patsy was born in Boston on June 2, 1932 to her late parents, Ernest and Lillian (Kelly) Bean. She was raised in Brighton and Newton. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a Librarian and Law Librarian in Boston.
She lived and studied for 5 years in Paris, and enjoyed extensive travelling through Ireland, Italy, and Spain. Patsy was a masterful artist although she was very private and did not show or sell her work. She was an excellent researcher, fabulous cook, and avid gardener.
Her life and memory will be fondly remembered by her children, Dan Joseph Morgan and his wife Tracey of Milton and Abigail Patricia (Morgan) Alpert and her husband Brad Alpert, M.D. of Leominster, her three grandchildren, Allyson Morgan, Daniel Alpert, and Samuel Alpert, her brother, Frank Bean of Weymouth, and her sister, Paula Zervas of Mashpee. She was predeceased by siblings Mary Schreiber, Marguerite Cartwright, Charles Bean, and Lillian Cole.
A private family gathering will be held.
