Nicholas J. Viti, age 97, of Concord, Massachusetts, formerly of Middletown, Rhode Island, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Marguerite (Reise) Viti; cherished father of Thomas Viti (Lynne) of Westwood, Stephen Viti of Harpswell, Maine, and Robert Viti of Waltham; devoted grandfather of Nicholas (Erin), William, Jonathan, and Anthony, and great-grandfather of Revel. He was the loving brother of Lillian Barnes (Al) of Tucson, and John of Portsmouth. Preceded in death by brothers Dominic, Frank, Alfred, Albert, Joseph, and Theodore, and a sister, Florence Ritchie.
Mr. Viti was born in Newport, Rhode Island on April 5, 1920, the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria Viti. He was a World War II Army veteran, former owner of Viti Mercedes in Tiverton, RI for many years, and previously, Toyota and American Motors dealerships in Middletown.
Burial will be private. All are invited to a memorial service at St. John's Episcopal Church, 95 Deerfield Avenue, Westwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 3rd at 10 AM.
