Nesta E. (Roberts) Girardi, age 95, formerly of Maynard and Concord, died at Life Care Center of Acton on June 28, 2022, following a period of declining health. She was the devoted wife for 59 years of the late Joseph J. Girardi, who died in 2016. Born and raised in Sudbury, Nesta was the daughter of the late Frank and Della (Baldwin) Roberts. She graduated with the class of 1944 from Hale High School in Stow. From 1957 until 1982, Nesta and Joe made their home in Concord, before moving to Maynard. They were longtime fixtures in the farming community of Concord, operating a family farm stand on Lexington Road together for many years. Nesta and Joe shared an incredible and unforgettable bond as true partners, in both their professional and personal lives. Their family takes comfort knowing they are together again for eternity. She was a faithful Red Sox and Patriots fan, and also enjoyed wintering in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Nesta leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Virginia Greeno, Barbara Roberts and Donel Roberts. Family and friends are invited to gather for Nesta's funeral service on Wednesday, July 27th at 11:30 am in the Farrar Chapel of Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sudbury. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
