Nancy Eileen Pierce, 58, better known to friends and fans as Fancy Nancy, would like to inform everyone that her work here is done. She took off to make an early tee time at the Pearly Gates Country Club, and will be patiently awaiting our arrival at the 19th Hole. In the meantime, she will dearly miss and be missed by her husband John, her children Jack and Lisa, all of her brothers and sisters, her many beloved nieces and nephews, her many wonderful friends, and her favorite godson (he knows who he is). Nancy will be remembered as a devoted mother who never missed an opportunity to shower her kids with love and affection. In addition to golf, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, reading, and spending time at the lake and beach with family. She was a talented seamstress, a popular hair dresser, and an accomplished chef with many famous dishes and recipes. She leaves behind a legacy of creativity, generosity, friendship, and above all else, kindness. Relatives and friends attended visiting hours for Nancy on Thursday, May 25th from 4 to 8 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Her funeral was held on Friday, May 26th at 9 am from the Dee Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial immediately followed at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Project Purple (www.projectpurple.org). Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
