Nancy R. (Dye) Mumford, 91, beloved wife of William W. Mumford, of Manchester, CT., passed away on September 6, 2018. She was born in West Concord, MA on December 1, 1926. A retired secretary in the stock market industry, Nancy enjoyed traveling and playing bridge as a longtime member of the Hartford Bridge Club. She also enjoyed spending time with church friends from both the Asylum Hill Congregational Church and Center Congregational Church, as well as her husband Bill, and their dog. Nancy was predeceased by her late husband, Lawrence F Redden, late husband Dean Graulich, and her only daughter, Diane Redden. She leaves behind her loving husband, Bill, their dog, Buddy, and cousins, Alexander R. MacLeod IV, of Charlestown, RI and Kristen MacLeod-Ells of Ashaway, RI, and step-children, Ross Plaut of Manchester, CT, Randy Plaut of Ellington, CT and June Clifford, of Beaufort, SC, along with many dear friends. Burial will be held at a later date at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's memory to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
