Nancy V. (Czuchrey) Coughlin, 74, of Concord died Wednesday April 4, 2012 in Lexington. She was the beloved wife of 54 years of Dan Coughlin. Born in The Bronx, New York on August 9, 1937 she was the daughter of the late John Czuchrey and Mary (Zurawel) Czuchrey . She attended New Haven, Connecticut schools and was a 1955 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven. She later graduated from Yale New Haven School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1958. Mrs. Coughlin resided in Connecticut and New Jersey prior to becoming a resident of Concord in 1976. She had a 35 year career in Nursing in all three states. More recently she was employed as a Cardiology Nurse at Primary Care Associates in Ayer. She was an avid outdoorswoman, equestrian, dog lover, pianist, and a full bore participant in all things life affirming. An accomplished artist and photographer, she was the founder and manager of Concord Artists Collaborative, and also owner of Nancy Coughlin Photo Expressions , whose exhibit venues included the Concord Free Public Library and Harvard University. She was a long time member and avid tennis player at the Thoreau Club in Concord, was a softball coach with the Concord Recreation Department , a communicant at the former Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in West Concord and later Holy Family Parish in Concord, and also a former member of the Board of Directors of Doberman Rescue Unlimited, Inc. In addition to her husband Dan, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Coughlin of Morristown, NJ, and Keith Coughlin and his wife Mary of Cheshire, CT; a daughter Kim Coughlin Tellez and her husband David of Northridge, CA, five grandchildren, Kara and Ryan Coughlin, Rachel and Samuel Enriquez and Kieren Tellez, a brother Edward Czuchrey and his wife Sylvia of Guilderland Center, NY, four nieces and three nephews. She was also the sister of the late Pauline White of Raleigh, NC. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home, Susan M. Dee and Charles W. Dee, Jr., Funeral Directors. Visitation: Visiting hours will be held at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center on Thursday April 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Service: A funeral service will be held at the Dee Funeral Home,27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA in the Farrar Chapel, on Friday April 13th at 10:30 am.
