Michael Neil Whitney, of Maynard, died on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Watertown Health Center. He was 65.

He was born in Concord on February 1, 1958, and graduated from Waltham Tech. For nearly 40 years, Michael worked in screen printing for Eglomise Designs.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hiking and camping. He was also an amateur woodworker. A jokester at heart, Michael had a great sense of humor. Above all, he will be missed as a beloved son, loving brother and devoted uncle.

He leaves behind his mother, Virginia (Lombardo) Whitney of Maynard, his siblings, Karen MacLure and her husband Ralph of The Villages, FL, Kristen Kistner of Leominster, Neil Whitney of Maynard, Mark Whitney and his wife Emmy of Acton and Linda O'Connor and her wife Megan of Salem, an uncle, Jim Giles of Waltham, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the son of the late Neil E. Whitney, brother of the late John C. Whitney and brother-in-law of the late David Kistner.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Monday, February 13th from 5 to 7 pm at Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. He will be laid to rest during a private burial service at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.
