Michael G. Fusillo, M.D., 82, of Lincoln died Tuesday January 8, 2013 at his Lincoln home. He was the beloved husband of 55 years of Concetta G. (LoConte) Fusillo. Born in New York City on March 31, 1930 he was the son of the late Ambrose Fusillo and Margaret (Canzoneri) Fusillo. He attended New York City Schools, received a Bachelors in Chemistry from Queens College in 1952, a Masters in Chemistry from Brooklyn College in 1954, and his M.D. from Albany Medical School in 1958. Dr. Fusillo began his private medical practice in 1963, opening Middlesex Neurological Associates located in Wakefield, and later in Malden. He retired in 1996. Prior to his own practice, he was associated with St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton, Jersey City Medical Center, Tufts University Hospital, Boston City Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University Hospital. He was a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. A Lincoln resident since 1969, he enjoyed sailing, tennis and skiing, and was a former member of Quannapowitt Yacht Club in Wakefield. He was the father of Gabrielle M. Paolacci and her husband Marcello of Rome, Italy, Michael G. Fusillo, PhD and his wife Nina of Brookline and James J. Fusillo, Esq. and his wife Helena of Malden and the late Marcie Fusillo. He was the grandfather of Michela, Andrea, and Luca Paolacci, and Nathaniel and Benjamin Fusillo and brother of Cecelia Cogan. Cemetery: Interment will follow in the family burial plot in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation: Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be on Friday Jan. 11th from 6 to 8 pm. Service: Funeral will be held Sat. Jan. 12th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am.
