Maurice August Gauthier, age 93, of Bedford MA, formerly of Ocala, FL and Beverly, MA died at home on January 23, 2021. He was the devoted husband of Velora (Rogers) Gauthier, with whom he shared 74 years of marriage. He was a life member of the Elks and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, Maurice leaves behind sons Maurice Gauthier of VA, Mark Gauthier of MA, and his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and George Kimball of Bedford, MA with whom he made his home. He was grandfather to seven children and several great grandchildren and was the brother of the late Theresa McShay, George, Wilfred and Jean Gauthier. Maurice's immediate family will gather for a private burial service at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. As a proud World War II Veteran, Officers of the United States Navy will recognize his honorable service by presenting military honors.
