Obituary

Maureen (Devlin) Fiorentino, 72, of Acton, formerly of Concord, died Monday, February 9, 2015 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Center in Wayland. She was the wife for 35 years of Frank J. Fiorentino. Born in Malden on August 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Gertrude Louise (Neenan) Devlin. She attended Rose Hawthorne Central Catholic Grammar School, graduated from Rose Hawthorne High School in 1961 and graduated from Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in 1964. For 33 years, prior to her retirement in 1998, Mrs. Fiorentino was a registered nurse in the Emergency Room and Labor and Delivery at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Previously, from 1966 to 1969, she worked in the operating room at Boston City Hospital. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her son, Michael Fiorentino of Westminster, Vermont and a brother, John Devlin of Texas. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 20th at 11 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Bernard's Church, Monument Square, Concord Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or to MSPCA – ANGELL, ATTN.
