Mary M. (McCue) McQuilkin, 91, of Concord died Wednesday October 26, 2011 at her Concord home. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of the late John F. McQuilkin who died in 2008. Born in Somerville on December 10, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Daniel L. and Mary (O\'Malley) McCue. She attended and graduated from St. Clements School in Somerville and later received an A.B. degree in English from Boston College. A Concord resident since 1955, she was an active communicant of Holy Family Parish and the former St. Bernard\'s Parish in Concord, where she taught CCD and was a lay minister of the eucharist. She also was a substitute teacher for several years in the Concord Public Schools. She retired in 1984 after over twenty years of employment as an auditor manager at Sentry Insurance Co. in Concord. Mrs. McQuilkin enjoyed tennis, piano and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the mother of Paul R. and his wife Bernadette of Hollis, NH, Jack F. and his wife Jane of Methuen, Stephen J. and his wife Kathleen of Highlands Ranch, Co, Mary T. Hosford and her husband Paul of Westford and Patricia A. McQuilkin and her husband David Fishbein of Harvard, grandmother of Ryan, Andrew, Kerri, Amy, Molly, Alec, Sam, Josh, and Eli, great grandmother of Lucas, Lily, Abigail and Ryan, and sister of Daniel McCue Jr. of Rochester, NY, Jeanette Puorro of Los Altos Hills, CA, Joseph McCue of Hampton, NH, Rev. Richard McCue of Exeter, NH , Eugene McCue of Chicopee and the late Arthur McCue. Arrangements under the care of the Dee Funeral Home, Susan M. Dee and Charles W. Dee, Jr.,Funeral Directors. Cemetery: Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Visitation: Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be on Sunday Oct. 30 from 2 to 5 pm. Service: Funeral will be held Monday Oct. 31st from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 9:30 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord at 10:30 am.
