Marion (Ogilvie) Simm, 88, of Concord died Saturday September 22, 2018 in Acton. She was the beloved wife of 52 years of the late A. Glenn Simm Jr, who died in 2007. Born in Newton on September 2, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Donald W. and Marion E. (Kirby) Ogilvie. She attended Wellesley schools and was a 1948 graduate of Wellesley High School. She became a Registered Nurse after graduating from Norwalk School of Nursing in Connecticut. She later received a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Salem State College and a Masters in Nursing from Boston College. Mrs. Simm was employed for over 30 years as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford where she was dedicated to mental health and addiction nursing. In her retirement, she led grief support groups as a volunteer at the Concord Council on Aging. She also volunteered at Open Table in Concord. A longtime Concord resident, she was an avid tennis player, sailor, skier, walker and reader. She was a member of the Concord Woman's Club and the Boston Sports Club in Lexington. She was the mother of Lisa Simm and her husband John Mazzeo of Maynard, Glenn Simm and his wife Tina Dowling of Bolton and Nancy Simm of Littleton, grandmother of Elizabeth Mazzeo and twin sister of the late Donald Ogilvie.
