Obituary

Marion (Tyler) Fulford, a longtime Lincoln resident, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Life Care Center of Acton. Born in Boston on February 3, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Henry Fulford and Ethel (Hardison) Tyler. She graduated from Concord High School in 1941 and earned a Certificate of Achievement from Symphony Conservatory of Music for her Study in Voice in 1946. In 1952, she completed a one-year course in physical therapeutics at the Boston Evening Clinic and Hospital and in 1953 was granted a license to practice massage in her home. For many years, Mrs. Fulford was employed at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and Tufts Insurance Company. A longtime Lincoln resident, she was a member of St. Anne's in-the Fields Episcopal Church in Lincoln, the Federated Eastern Indian League and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include 5 cousins, Earlyne Thompson, Hazel Hardison and Desmond Hardison, all of New York City and Marian Roddy and Delores Walker, both of North Carolina. Cemetery: Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln where Rev. Malin will read the committal prayers. Visitation: Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4th from 10 to 11 AM in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Service: Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 AM on Friday, May 4 th. Officiating will be the Rev. Kate Malin, Rector of St. Anne's in-the-Fields Church in Lincoln.
