Margaret F. "Peggy" Watts

December 14, 1935 — May 6, 2026

Margaret F. “Peggy” (Sullivan) Watts, age 90, a longtime Concord resident, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of the late John F. “Jack” Watts, Sr., and a devoted mother to five children, twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Peggy was born in Boston on December 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Daniel Sullivan and Anne (Flynn) Sullivan. She grew up in Charlestown in a large loving family where she attended St. Mary’s Parochial School and graduated from Cathedral High School.

Family was always at the center of Peggy’s life. Known for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and generous heart, she loved family gatherings, cooking for those she loved, attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, and staying closely connected with her many friends and extended family.

Loving mother of Jack Watts, Jr. of Concord, Joanne Ellis and her husband Peter of Lakewood Ranch Florida, Meg Cole and her husband Curtis of Belmont, Sheila S. Watts of Concord, and Brian F. Watts and his wife Nancy of Foxborough. Beloved grandmother of Julia Crawford (Andrew), Jacqueline Strasser (Ryan), and John Watts; Jessica Russell (Chris), and Ryan Ellis; Jake (Catharine), Michael (Erin) and Austin Cole (Kourtney); Jack, Tommy, James, and Brendan Watts, and great-grandmother to Madison, Olivia, Henry, Cooper, Eleanor, Kennedy and Madeleine.

Loving sister of Judy Burns and the late Ann Marie Winkler, Eileen Kelly, Helen Cotter, and Daniel, Edward, Albert, Gerald, John “Jack”, William, and Robert Sullivan. Dear aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
