Margaret (Sherman) Shaffer, 65, of Concord, passed away at home on Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was born on November 5, 1952, the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (McGeehan) Sherman. Maggie was raised and educated in the Philadelphia area. During her high school years, she was a long distance runner and maintained a lifelong interest in art. She will be lovingly remembered as a free spirit who especially cherished time spent on Cape Cod. Maggie is survived by one son, Christopher T. Hewitt, her former husband, Ken Shaffer of Acton, her sisters Mary Strasser and her spouse Chris, Ann Sullivan and her spouse Duke, and her brother Thomas Sherman. Maggie also leaves behind nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 11th at Papa Razzi Restaurant, 768 Elm Street, Concord, MA at 6 pm. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
